Roles & Responsibilities

The YCC 327 Board of Directors are responsible for overseeing the affairs of the corporation.  We strive to act in good faith and in the best interest of the community.  We operate in a cohesive manner, supporting one another, to ensure we deliver excellence.  All Board of Directors are directly involved in overseeing and managing day-to-day operations.


The Board of Directors activities fall under four main categories:

1.       Governance;

2.       Operations;

3.       Community, and

4.       Finance.


The Board of Directors' Tasks include:

·         Managing the corporation’s records;

·         Handling owner requests;

·         Communicating regularly with condominium owners and residents;

·         Coordinating repairs and maintenance & ensuring they are carried out;

·         Hiring and monitoring service providers;

·         Preparing draft annual budgets;

·         Monitoring the reserve fund;

·         Issuing meeting notices;

·         Organizing board or owners’ meetings;

·         Tracking the corporation’s financial performance;

·         Hiring specialists; such as Engineers, to update the reserve fund study every 3 years;

·         Facilitating updates to the corporation’s governing documents;

·         Upholding and enforcing legislation such as the Condominium Act, the Declaration, and all

          condo by-laws and rules, and

·         Acting honestly and in good faith, with the best interest of the corporation.
